Who we are

SOLIDYOU is born from a merge of professionals operating in the field of mechanical design has specialized by offering dedicated and customized services according to customer needs. The primary objective of SOLIDYOU is to ensure professionalism and flexibility during the design phases to ensure a result in terms of design that respects the customer’s needs. The continuous training of technical Team allows to propose innovative and reliable solutions.

Why SolidYou?

  • We are an integrated partners of the company team
  • We have a structured method tested during the years
  • We are focused on:
    • Reducing development time
    • Achieving the objectives on a budget

Competences

-What we do-

  • Mechanical design
  • Layout industrial plants
  • Manuals and parts lists
  • 2D ann 3D technical processing three-dimensional
  • Verification and calculation of design parameters (FEM, CFD)
  • Support for the product certification process
  • Post-design and post-construction assistance
  • Technical/economic feasibility study of new product

Methods

-Feasibility Study-

  • Starting from the essential requirement, the general performance of the new product is defined, as well as the technical solutions that are considered suitable to achieve the goal.
  • Develop any innovative content.
  • Descriptive technical reports and overviews.
  • Consideration of additional alternative solutions at each stage of the project.
5 Types of Feasibility Studies
  • Legal Feasibility
Performed to understand if the proposed plan conforms to the legal and ethical requirements.
  • Economic Feasibility
Involves a cost benefits analysis to identify how well, or how poorly, a project will be concluded.
  • Technical Feasibility
Proces of validating the technical resources and capabilities to convert the ideas into working systems.
  • Operational Feasibility
Performed to understand well a proposed system solves the problems.
  • Scheduling Feasibility
Measure of how reasonable the project duration is.
Preliminary Design
  • Depth analysis of machine functions and performance:
    • The general architecture
    • The leading commercial features for the correct market entry
  • Choices must consider:
    • Technical feasibility in the light of economic constraints
    • The technical and technological capabilities of the production structure that will produce the product
    • Constraints imposed by legal requirements (safety, environment during use and throughout the life cycle)
Detailed Design
  • Develop a comprehensive systematic analysis of the individual components of the machine. This analysis must be able to determine in-depth:
    • The shape, the dimensions, the materials, and the processes to be used for the realization of the machine.
    • Suppliers of materials, sub-assemblies, or services essential to the realization.
    • The schedule of construction activities, clarifying the nature of the resources to be deployed to achieve the chosen objective.
  • The processed products are:
    • Detailed calculation reports (if necessary)
    • Test reports (if necessary)
    • Construction drawings for each element and each processing phase
    • Working patterns
    • Assembly and testing instructions
    • Any mounting diagrams
Design Control

The entire design process must be under control and, if necessary, overhauled.

This control is present at all stages of the design and has the purpose of:

  • Check that all project initiators
  • Check that all necessary information is in a clear, complete, and unambiguous way
  • Verifying the accuracy and reliability of all the numerical and experimental calculations carried out
  • Checkout the planned timetable, with initial starting requirements
